Medical technology company to implement diCarta contract management software to improve control, visibility
San Carlos, CA — February 2, 2006 — Kinetic Concepts Inc. (KCI), a global medical technology company, said it has selected diCarta contract management software to help manage the administration of its sales agreements with healthcare payers, facilities and healthcare providers.
More than 250 KCI employees across the company's operations, legal, finance, contracting and sales divisions will use the diCarta solution.
diCarta Contracts will provide KCI with greater control and efficiency in our sales contracting processes, said Keith Jones, vice president of Finance, KCI USA Inc. The diCarta solution had the critical capabilities needed to manage the contracts of KCI's fast-growing sales organization.
diCarta Contracts is a contract management solution spanning every stage of the contract management lifecycle, from proposal and contract creation, negotiation, obligations management, and compliance enforcement, through contract amendment, renewal, and ongoing analysis. diCarta claimed its contract management software allows companies to structure stronger contracts, streamline contracting processes and improve deal quality.
KCI also plans to use the diCarta Contract Integration Server to integrate diCarta Contracts with its Oracle Financials system in order to automatically pull customer and pricing data into its sales contracts. This should enable KCI to reduce contract errors and manage contract creation time to help KCI close business faster.
