Diagnostic imaging equipment leader deploys service parts management solutions and experiences immediate value to its service delivery capabilities
Atlanta — November 9, 2004 — Toshiba America Medical Systems, a provider of diagnostic imaging equipment, said it has successfully implemented Servigistics's service parts management solution to enhance the company's service delivery capabilities.
The Servigistics solution was deployed across Toshiba America Medical Systems entire service infrastructure, resulting in improvements in inventory turns, planner productivity and service parts fill rates, while reducing inventory stock outs and write-offs.
Toshiba said the deployment of the Servigistics solution, which was completed ahead of schedule and under budget, also returned value in the following areas:
* Reduced service parts stock outs by 13 percent
* Increased service parts planner productivity by 25 percent
* Increased service parts inventory turns by 35 percent
* Reduced service parts inventory write-offs by 24 percent
