Wayland, MA — July 31, 2006 — The Bon-Ton Stores Inc., based in York, Pa., said today that it has selected Tourtellotte Solutions' RockBlocks as its global sourcing solution based on its ability to automate, accelerate and optimize the global sourcing process.

As an end-to-end solution, RockBlocks is expected to enable Bon-Ton to source goods from any country and effectively manage the flow of product and information across international borders to any destination around the world.

Bon-Ton was founded in 1898 and is a traditional department store retailer with a history of providing quality merchandise to customers in mid-sized markets.

"I've used the RockBlocks supply chain solution for years," said Chuck Gilreath , incoming vice president of Sourcing, Bon-Ton Private Brands. "Tourtellotte Solutions has done great things with this product, and it will be an integral part of our global sourcing initiative."

RockBlocks 7.0 supports the entire sourcing process from quotation through final delivery by automating workflow, exception and event management, providing a central data repository for all supply chain information, and enabling collaboration between internal and external supply chain participants.

According to Ed Tourtellotte, founder and CEO of Tourtellotte Solutions, as the global economy becomes more interdependent and complex, companies need to operate seamlessly across borders in order to reduce lead times. He said that while RockBlocks 7.0 is an out-of-the-box sourcing solution, is also allows customers to implement their own business process with new customization features. This makes it adaptable to shifting market dynamics and changes in business strategy.

"We are thrilled to have added The Bon-Ton Stores to our client portfolio," stated Tourtellotte.
