Oil States Industries goes for more functionality, operational visibility and SCM capabilities with Glovia product

El Segundo, CA — October 19, 2004 — Oil States Industries said today it is migrating to the current version of Glovia International's extended enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution,, to take advantage of enhanced operational visibility and supply chain management capabilities.

Oil States Industries is a leading manufacturer and developer of technologically advanced products, services and integrated solutions that serve the greater oil and gas industry. A Glovia customer for more than seven years, the company has grown steadily and currently has 15 locations worldwide with nine domestic and six international.

Oil States Industries is migrating its nine domestic facilities, which are currently operating on an older version of, to the current release. The company plans to begin the upgrade later this year at its domestic facilities and, once complete, then consider rolling out the solution to their international locations.

Once implemented, the solution is designed to enable the company to increase supply chain visibility and responsiveness, compress planning times, and improve customer satisfaction.
