Seven Thai manufacturers select provider's solution to address changing business requirements

Bangkok, THAILAND — November 18, 2004 — MAPICS Inc., an enterprise solutions provider, has launched SyteLine enterprise resource planning (ERP) in Thailand. MAPICS said its solution is designed so companies can achieve their goals of manufacturing efficiency while addressing changing internal and external business requirements.

MAPICS SyteLine ERP, built and deployed on the Microsoft .NET platform, connects manufacturing operations and core business processes with suppliers and customers.

With a goal to help manufacturers in Thailand improve their business operations and achieve world-class business performance through the use of its extended ERP solution, MAPICS said it has been working with leading business partners in Thailand. These partners have experience in implementing MAPICS products and in providing expertise in key vertical areas.

The company announced today agreements to supply its MAPICS SyteLine ERP solution to manufacturers in Thailand, including ACME Industry Co., Ltd, Bandai Industrial Co., Ltd, The British Dispensary (L.P) Co., Ltd., R.X. Co., Ltd., Saengmitr Electric Co., Ltd., Stars Microelectronics (Thailand) PLC; and Thai Laminate Manufacturer Co., Ltd.
