Elcom, the e-procurement and e-marketplace solutions subsidiary of Elcom International, Inc. that targets mid-market companies with hosted solutions, and i2 Technologies, announced that they have entered into a partnership. As a result of this partnership, i2 and elcom will implement solutions for mid-sized companies and further expand the i2 footprint into the elcom market space.
Elcom International, Inc. will implement i2 TradeMatrix Fulfill Solution to augment Elcom Services Group, Inc.'s (the logistics subsidiary of Elcom International) ability to provide more value to its logistics, product fulfillment and outsourcing services offering. In addition, elcom will participate in i2's TradeMatrix Network API. TradeMatrix Network API provides a standard interface to help companies connect their TradeMatrix marketplaces to other private and public marketplaces. The marketplace-to-marketplace connectivity will enable businesses to participate in the global economy that extends beyond their enterprises and traditional industry boundaries.
