PROVIDENCE, RI PRNewswire December 20, 2000 eBT (eBusiness Technologies), a service and solution provider for e-business applications, finalized an alliance with Epicentric, an e-business network platform provider. The agreement will combine Epicentric's ability to establish a network of e-business centers within a common management structure with eBT's content management and workflow automation capabilities.
By teaming with eBT, our customers now have the power to effectively manage their Web content, said Kathleen Hayes, Vice President of Business Development at Epicentric. Combining our two companies' services will impact the way organizations manage their Internet, Intranet, and Extranet sites.
The new solution is designed to help companies building online business communities in order to communicate with their customers, partners, employees and other constituents. The alliance agreement calls for our two companies to jointly develop a tight integration of our respective products, providing the customers a streamlined way of managing content through the portal environment, noted Bill Stone, Vice President of Business Development for eBT.
