Chicago June 26, 2002 Click Commerce this week unveiled a new pricing program to coincide with the launch of version 5.0 of its Partner Portal solution.
According to Click Commerce, the new program is designed to link enterprises' investments in the provider's software to their realization of the business benefits in the areas of online commerce, channel management and partner relationship management.
The software company said this new approach is a departure from traditional software licensing models, whereby enterprise customers take the risk and invest in software before it is installed and has proven value.
Click Commerce's pricing program features a small initial investment, a 60-day start-up implementation plan and the ability to measure benefits as enterprises roll their portals out to their partners and customers. As more partners and customers use the system for routine interactions, enterprises can track cost savings using the software and pay ongoing costs to Click Commerce that are tied to their success.
"This new pricing program means the power of the Click Commerce Partner Portal is an affordable and practical solution for enterprises of all sizes," stated Michael Ferro, chairman & CEO of the software company.
Partner Portal 5.0 is scheduled for general availability in early August.
