"Skeleton crew" kept on to support clients

Tempe, AZ — April 7, 2003 — Qiva, a provider of global logistics and trade management solutions, shut its doors on Friday and is liquidating its assets, iSource Business learned today.

According to a public relations representative for the company, Qiva is maintaining a "skeleton crew" to support current clients.

Among the company's customers, Qiva's Web site lists Aspect Communications, Brocade, W.W. Grainger, JDS Uniphase, Liz Claiborne, Memec and The Neiman Marcus Group.

The spokesperson said that a liquidation firm was handling the disposition of Qiva's assets, and the company was seeking buyers for its technology, which helped companies to manage their international logistics and trade operations.

Qiva was headquartered in San Francisco, with development, sales and support offices in the United States, Europe and the Asia Pacific region.

As of Monday morning, Qiva's Web site was still accessible.
