AgroFresh Solutions launched its FreshCloud platform to predict the freshness of produce. According to The Packer, the tool uses data to monitor produce quality through the supply chain.
FreshCloud will enable users to predict produce freshness, quality and optimal consumption timing. The company recently acquired Verigo, whose technology will help improve fruit quality.The Packer reports that FreshCloud Predictive Screen will be able to predict the risk of disorder development during storage by analyzing gene expression at commercial harvest.
