On the Software as a Service Track to Improved Productivity

NGC ERP XPress is an enterprise enterprise resource planning application in a software-as-a-service model

Miami, Fla.August 15, 2014NGC announced that Lucky Zone Design, a private-label apparel manufacturer based in New York, is implementing NGC’s ERP XPress platform. NGC ERP XPress provides the robust features of NGC’s enterprise enterprise resource planning (ERP) application in a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model delivered in the cloud.

Lucky Zone Design selected NGC ERP XPress to help the company manage its rapidly growing business. “We’re growing very quickly, not only in sheer volume, but also in people, locations and warehouses,” said Bart Young, vice president of operations at Lucky Zone. “We were looking for a system that would serve as a strategic platform for growth.”

Lucky Zone Design selected NGC after a comprehensive review of the fashion ERP solutions available in the market. “We looked at a number of other ERP providers, but NGC was the best choice for us, based on their in-depth knowledge of the apparel industry and the capabilities of the system,” he continued.

With NGC ERP XPress, there is no software to install or configure, no need to purchase additional hardware, and no need for information technology (IT) support or extensive user training. As a result, companies can be up and running in under 30 days on a fully featured fashion ERP system that includes electronic data interchange (EDI), customer order processing, purchasing, production orders, inventory control, distribution, accounting and reporting. The system includes hundreds of preconfigured reports and many other functions that help companies streamline their workflows, reduce costs and improve profitability, increase their inventory turns and provide better customer service.

“The SaaS model gives us the flexibility we need,” Young said. “With NGC ERP XPress, we’ll be able to have everyone on the same page, even if they are in multiple locations, and they can access the entire ERP system anytime, anywhere.”
