Princeton, N.J. – June 4, 2012 – TAKE Solutions Ltd., a global technology solutions and service provider of life sciences, supply chain management and enterprise solutions, successfully implemented Oracle Mobile Supply Chain Applications (MSCA) for a manufacturer of household goods.
As a result, the customer achieved real-time inventory visibility into manufacturing, put-away and customer shipments. TAKE also implemented location control and cycle counting to provide additional visibility and inventory accuracy.
“TAKE’s depth of knowledge with Oracle allows us to go beyond standard implementation to deliver extended functionality,” said Matt Walker, Executive Vice President, Supply Chain for TAKE Solutions. “In addition to automating a number of paper-based inventory, manufacturing and shipping processes, we were able to help our customer streamline several additional processes by combining multiple Oracle transactions into a single transaction, utilizing Oracle’s Application Developer Framework.”
TAKE delivered the project utilizing an on-shore/off-shore resource model to provide an effective mix of functional supply chain automation expertise along with competitive pricing on a global scale. In addition to initial cost-savings, the customer’s project team was able to work actively with TAKE’s experts for the necessary knowledge transfer to manage and support the Oracle Mobile Supply Chain Applications implementation post deployment.
