Chicago—May 30, 2012—Mickey North Rizza, former Gartner analyst and an authority on sourcing and supply management strategies, joined BravoSolution as Vice President of Strategic Services.
In this newly created position, North Rizza will leverage her practitioner heritage and deep domain knowledge to help BravoSolution’s customers accelerate sourcing and procurement performance. Her primary focus will be guiding practitioners on their journey from tactical supply management execution towards driving strategic top- and bottom-line value across the organization.
“Mickey has been the go-to advisor for supply chain and procurement strategies for years and we’re ecstatic that she will now be working exclusively with BravoSolution customers,” said Marc Bergeron, General Manager of BravoSolution Americas, the spend analysis and strategic sourcing company. “She’s always been a strong advocate in recognizing that a balanced mix of people, process and technology is needed to achieve supply management excellence, making her a perfect fit and welcome addition to our team.”
North Rizza brings more than 25 years of senior-level procurement and supply management experience to BravoSolution. Prior to BravoSolution, she helped build Gartner’s supply chain practice into one of the most respected and influential global research practices; served as Research Director at AMR Research; and Vice President of Supply Base Management at Modus Link.
“Supply Management professionals are under more pressure than ever before to accelerate cost savings, mitigate global supply risk and deliver top-line and bottom-line value,” said North Rizza. “And with that pressure comes a new opportunity for CPOs to begin driving the strategic direction of their organizations. Working as an analyst, I’ve seen so many companies on the verge of making this a reality. I’m thrilled to begin working side-by-side with BravoSolution’s customers, helping them to achieve procurement transformation.”
