Thomas Register releases new versions of its computer-aided design, adds nearly 60 new manufacturers

New York August 26, 2003 Thomas Register, a sourcing information provider, today announced the release of its PartSpec version 7.0, PlantSpec version 7.0 and CADBlocks version 6.0 computer-aided design (CAD) CD-ROMs, which the company said together offer 59 new manufacturers.

Thomas register also said that nearly 60 PartSpec manufacturers now also offer 3D solid models of their products.

Other new content additions and updates to the PartSpec and PlantSpec CD-ROMs include CAD system compatibility instructions for direct insertion capabilities, display area instructions on part drawing generation and direct insert support additions for the latest CAD software releases.
