EBE Technologies developed Adaptive Capture, an AI-powered solution that allows transportation providers to verify required documents and photos while drivers are still at the pickup or delivery stop.

“The opportunity here is to validate execution while the work is still taking place,” says Scott Nunnari, senior solutions engineer at EBE Technologies. “Adaptive Capture gives transportation providers that capability by connecting shipment requirements with the physical evidence captured by drivers and identifying exceptions before they leave the pickup or delivery location.”

Key takeaways:

·        Adaptive Capture integrates with your existing mobile communication, dispatch, and document imaging solutions.

·        Adaptive Capture uses AI to verify the driver has captured the required documents and photos in near real time, making sure the shipper receives what they need as quickly as possible.

·        Adaptive Capture supports verification of trailer seals and equipment condition; inspection reports, scale tickets, and other required documentation; proof of delivery, signatures, and overage, shortage, and damage evidence; load securement, tarping, hazmat placards, fuel stick, and refrigeration displays; and shipper-specific photos.

·        When a driver submits an image, AI evaluates it against requirements assigned to the shipment. Approved images are linked to the shipment. If something is missing or incorrect, the driver receives a prompt to retake the photo or correct the issue on-site.
