SalesLeads announced the November 2020 results for the new planned capital project spending report for the food and beverage industry. The firm tracks North American planned industrial capital project activity, including facility expansions, new plant construction and significant equipment modernization projects. Research confirms 86 new projects in the food and beverage sector.

Planned industrial project activity within the sector increased by 23% from the previous month, but is down 11% YTD from the previous year.

Fresh produce and specialty foods distributor is planning to invest $40 million for the construction of a 224,000-square-foot distribution facility in Philadelphia. Completion is slated for late 2021.

 

CONNECTICUT:

Specialty food products manufacturer is planning for the expansion of their processing and office facility in West Haven, Conn., by 100,000 square feet. Construction is expected to start in 2021.

 

FLORIDA:

Specialty food products manufacturer is planning for the construction of an 82,000-square-foot warehouse and processing facility in Coral Springs, Fla. Construction is expected to start in early 2021.

 

NEWFOUNDLAND:

Seafood processor is planning for the construction of an 183,000-square-foot cold storage facility in Conception Bay South, Newfoundland.

 

TEXAS:
