Alcatel Steers Course for IQNavigator

Selects provider for workforce procurement and management solution

Denver April 23, 2002 The U.S. division of telecommunications company Alcatel has tapped IQNavigator to provide a workforce procurement and management solution.

Alcatel USA signed a three-year, enterprise-wide agreement to use the IQNavigator application to manage hour-based billing and account for fixed-bid contingent workers in all labor categories and skill sets including technical and clerical support.

Alcatel is counting on the solution to help it reduce contingent workforce expenses, improve budget tracking, streamline and consolidate invoicing, and establish controls over the sourcing, approval and assignment management process.

Alcatel and IQNavigator are currently engaged in implementing the application for various Alcatel domestic U.S. operations, including Alcatel's U.S. headquarters in Plano, TX.

Alcatel, with $25 billion in annual sales and approximately 99,000 worldwide employees, operates in more than 130 countries.
