Plano, TexasSept. 12, 2014ESI, a designer and manufacturer of business telephone systems and cloud services, announced the launch of its mobile application, ESI Ditto, along with new features for its Cloud PBX solution.

“Since 1987, ESI’s goal remained the same: to create simple products that help businesses communicate more easily and efficiently,” said George Platt, ESI’s chief executive officer. “As bring-your-own-device (BYOD) trends continue to impact the workplace, we’re excited to bring the simplicity of ESI’s solution to our users’ mobile devices with ESI Ditto. Combined with Cloud PBX, ESI Ditto empowers users, enabling them to communicate from anywhere, whether in the office or on the go.”

ESI’s Ditto mobile application, available on both Apple and Android operating systems, mirrors the functionality of an ESI desk phone for on-the-go communication. The application provides a holistic approach for user connectivity, with:

  • A streamlined user interface, customized for both tablet and mobile devices.
  • Visual voicemail with click-to-dial call-back functionality.
  • A sophisticated WiFi-to-cellular data hand-off to maintain constant connection based on network availability.

ESI Ditto joins the company’s broader portfolio of end-to-end cloud solutions, including SIP trunking, audio conferencing, CloudFax and Abillity—a simple billing application that classifies the billable status of each phone call in seconds.

ESI’s latest release of Cloud PBX features was designed to provide an intuitive user experience across its web-based dashboard. First launched in May 2014, ESI’s solution is an integrated solution, yet with intelligent integration of ESI’s manufactured phones and its web-based dashboard. This latest feature release includes:

Live peer-to-peer chat with directory contacts.

An enhanced user interface with an intuitive flow of features and functions.

The ability to customize desktop phone buttons from the web-based dashboard with simple drag-and-drop functionality, eliminating the need for cumbersome star codes or complex programming from the desktop phone.

ESI’s Ditto mobile application and new Cloud PBX features are available to users immediately with a subscription-pricing structure through ESI’s network of authorized resellers. As a cloud market vendor that is 100-percent channel-driven, ESI remains committed to providing businesses a tailored experience with local system support to ensure the user’s success.
