OVN LLC rolled out Verilane, an AI-driven system that automates driver onboarding and carrier qualification for same-day approval.
After reviewing the document, the system confirms the policy directly with the provider through an AI voice agent, then re-verifies coverage continuously in rotation across the fleet. Coverage is treated as a status that has to be re-earned rather than a one-time stamp at signup.

"A driver who is approved today and earning tomorrow stays with us. We have taken the manual process of document vetting off our team's shoulders and given the time back to the driver."

Document checklist. The driver sees every required document up front and confirms each one.
Upload. The driver submits the full set of documents in a single pass, including live vehicle photos. Images are captured only through the phone camera within the flow, so drivers cannot submit pre-existing or downloaded photos. The capture covers all four sides of the van plus the open rear doors and cargo area.
Automated verification. Verilane checks the file as a whole rather than document by document. The driver's license serves as the anchor, and names, numbers, and business entities must agree across identity, business, and payment details, insurance, and vehicle registration before anything clears. The system flags mismatches and sends correction tasks directly to the driver. Anything ambiguous routes to a human specialist immediately.
Clearance and activation. When the file clears, the driver receives Verilane Certified status, is assigned a unit number, appears on OVN's live capacity map as available, and begins receiving load proposals. Before accepting a first load, the driver completes OVN Academy, a video training sequence.
