LoadBetter pilot launched its private freight marketplace, built for shippers, freight brokers and 3PLs that want to work more efficiently with the carrier relationships they already have.
“Freight teams do not need to start from zero every time they have a load to cover. Many already know the carriers they want to work with,” says Emanuel Daniciuc, business development and GTM lead at LoadBetter. “LoadBetter allows shippers and brokers to bring their existing network into one private workspace and manage the process directly with the carriers they already know and trust.”
Key takeaways:
· Shippers and brokers can invite or upload their approved carriers, publish loads exclusively to their own network and manage carrier responses directly against each load. Carriers can bid, submit counter-offers or accept eligible loads through Book Now. Teams can then compare responses, award the load and confirm the selected carrier from one workspace.
· LoadBetter is launching with a private-first model. Loads are available only to carriers invited or approved by the shipper or broker. This allows freight teams to work exclusively within their own carrier network and control who can see and respond to their freight.
· LoadBetter is designed to support the carrier-facing workflow without replacing the transportation management system. The platform focuses on private load publishing, carrier responses, bids, counter offers, Book Now, offer comparison and awards. The TMS will remain the system of record for broader operational and financial processes.
