Costa Mesa, CA March 5, 2002 The results are in: according to the 2002 Accounting Research Satisfaction Survey, the Syspro Group's IMPACT Encore software ranked first in overall satisfaction in the Middle Market enterprise resource planning (ERP) category and second in the Entry Level ERP software category.

The Accounting Research Satisfaction Survey is an annual, independent research project undertaken by Salmon & Associates on behalf of K2 Enterprises, a firm that conducts hundreds of seminars in North America for the CPA community.

This year more than 2,300 value-added resellers (VARs), certified public accountants (CPAs) and consultants participated in the study, which was divided into four sections. The first section asked for information about the responding firm. The second rated accounting software on 10 different factors, including stability, performance, flexibility, ease of use, feature set, reporting, integration with Microsoft Office, e-commerce, third-party software and technical support. The third section rated the accounting software by module. The fourth section gave respondents the opportunity to make general comments on the accounting software products they were rating.

According to Brian Stein, president of Syspro Impact Software, the America's headquarters for the Syspro Group, the company views the ratings as a validation of its efforts to anticipate and fill the needs of target markets with functional, scalable software.

In addition to the high ratings in the Accounting Research Satisfaction Survey, Syspro was honored last month by the Software Council of Southern California, which named the company as a Top 3 Finalist in the Software Developer of the Year category.
