e-Invoicing Is a Win-Win for Buyers and Suppliers

APEX Analytix partners with Basware to offer end-to-end procure-to-pay solution for global financial supply chain

Greensboro, NCApril 21, 2016APEX Analytix, a company that audits, recovers and optimizes profit and working capital in businesses’ global financial supply chains, announced a partnership with Basware, a global provider of networked purchase-to-pay (P2P) solutions, e-invoicing and financing services.

APEX Analytix saw great demand among procure-to-pay and shared services leaders for its enterprise resource planning (ERP) integrated and client-branded FirstStrike Supplier Portal for global and multilingual supplier registration functions, supplier-initiated invoice inquiry and configurable dynamic discounting solutions. Seamlessly integrating the FirstStrike portal platform to other P2P automation solutions already in use is enabled through APEX Analytix’s configurable Secure Open Adapter.

The partnership with Basware now allows companies to achieve an end-to-end e-invoicing, invoice inquiry and accounts payable (AP) automated workflow solution that seamlessly works with APEX Analytix’s supplier portal modules, maximizes profit and efficiency, provides access to funding sources, and establishes a strong controls environment. APEX Analytix’s clients will have access to the Basware business commerce network, which connects more than 1 million companies across 100 countries, linked to more than 200 interoperability partners.

According to Tehseen Dahya, Basware general manager, North America, APEX Analytix clients can expect a seamless integration between the APEX Analytix supplier registration solution and the Basware network. “Transmitting invoices over the Basware network is simple; an account can easily be accessed from the APEX Analytix portal. e-Invoicing is a win-win for buyers and suppliers. Buyers benefit from increased visibility, efficiencies and control over invoices, while suppliers benefit from quicker invoice processing, and potentially faster payment and improved cash flow,” said Dahya.

“When you’re doing business internationally and interacting with hundreds of thousands of suppliers every day all around the world, your P2P systems must be global. They must fully support international tax, regulatory, language, support, system availability and data security requirements,” said Danny Thompson, APEX Analytix vice president of software product management.
