GEP and Hubwoo Partner to Unlock Customers’ Full Savings Potential

The companies agreed to leverage each other’s strengths to provide a joint source-to-pay solution native to cloud, mobile and touch

Paris/New YorkFeb. 13, 2014Hubwoo, an open business network provider, and GEP, a global provider of procurement services and procurement software to Fortune 500 and Global 2000 enterprises worldwide, announced that they are partnering to deliver source-to-pay solutions in the cloud. GEP and Hubwoo agreed to leverage each other’s strengths to provide a joint source-to-pay solution native to cloud, mobile and touch technologies, and are already connected to more than one million businesses.

The joint solution combines GEP’s sourcing and procurement solution, SMART by GEP, a comprehensive, unified source-to-pay platform—including spend analytics, sourcing, contract management, supplier performance management and purchasing—native to cloud, touch and mobile technologies, with The Business Network by Hubwoo, an open business-to-business (B2B) collaboration and catalog management hub that provides mass supplier enablement. Suppliers on the network are able to collaborate on orders, invoices, request for quotes (RFQs), catalogs and other processes directly with buyers on the SMART by GEP platform.

SMART by GEP enables users to work without compromise, anywhere, anytime and on any device—tablet, mobile phone, laptop or PC. SMART by GEP provides robust, comprehensive sourcing and procurement functionality, including spend analysis, sourcing, contract management, supplier management and purchasing, in one unified e-procurement solution. It supports the fluid multi-tasking and flexible workflows required by real-world procurement professionals on the go, all while leveraging cloud economics to reduce total cost of operation.

The Business Network by Hubwoo connects companies to enable more productive B2B commerce. As opposed to the buy-side focus of supplier networks, Hubwoo’s business network is equally focused on buyer and seller value, with no supplier fees and open integration with all enterprise resource planning (ERP), procurement and accounts payable systems. The Business Network is a cloud-based hub that has electronically connected more than one million businesses and transacted over $110 billion in commerce, delivering spend compliance and invoice automation to businesses around the globe.
