Atlanta — February 15, 2006 — Logility Inc., a supplier of collaborative supply chain solutions, today announced the general availability of its supply chain management suite Logility Voyager Solutions 7.5. The company said the latest version of the software includes upgrades to help distribution-intensive companies use the Internet to gain visibility of key metrics, support demand-driven business strategies, manage global supply chain activities, optimize transportation operations, and accelerate sales and operations planning (S&OP) processes.
Logility said the changes incorporated into Voyager Solutions 7.5 are a result of input from customers and industry experts, along with technology advancements, to more easily support customers' demand-driven supply chain initiatives.
Voyager 7.5['s]...improvements target usability, interactivity and configurability of the User Interface, said Lora Cecere, research director, in a September 1, 2005, AMR Research Alert. Logility Voyager Solutions 7.5 feature collaborative Web-based functionality to help companies more easily support a demand-driven supply chain, one focused on improving productivity, reducing costs and increasing perfect orders.
