Manufacturer of diesel engines ready to improve effectiveness of customer contacts
Fairfield, NJ — July 23, 2004 — Cummins South Pacific, a division of Cummins Inc., said it has selected StayinFront's customer relationship management (CRM) software solution for its operations in Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.
The world's largest independent manufacturer of diesel engines for use in the automotive, marine, power generation, mining, and other industrial sectors, Cummins has 36 facilities and 1,500 employees in the South Pacific region.
Cummins South Pacific selected StayinFront Visual Elk, StayinFront Campaign Management, StayinFront Opportunity Management and StayinFront Panorama to create a unified process-driven approach for all customer-related activities. StayinFront's solutions will enable Cummins South Pacific to analyze and report on sales activities, while integrating to other customer-related systems to leverage existing information technology (IT) investments.

Using StayinFront's solutions, Cummins South Pacific said its employees will be able to share and collaborate on customer information. The sales and customer service staff will use StayinFront Visual Elk for managing and integrating all points of customer interaction.
StayinFront Campaign Management, an organizational program, will be used to manage all phases of corporate campaigns such as mail campaigns and response registration.
StayinFront Opportunity Management will be used to support team selling, as well as manage activities, tasks and rewards.
Additionally, Cummins South Pacific will implement StayinFront Panorama as its data analysis and decision support tool.
Having already completed a comprehensive functional specification and prototype, Cummins South Pacific is due to go live with the production system by the end of September 2004.
