Chicago — September 24, 2004 — USF Logistics Services has introduced a new returns management analytical reports solution designed to provide customers with online returns information that previously had been available only in paper form.

An operating company of USF Corporation, USF Logistics Services said that the new USF Net returns management analytical reports solution comprises a Web-based reporting and analysis package that is now available to customers through its USF Processors group.

With the new solution, returns management reports are provided to customers with information on products processed, vendor debits and store credits on an individual and consolidated basis. These reports have been available in paper form and initially in static form via USF Net.

USF said the new returns management analytical reports offer three service levels of online reporting to customers, based on the level of detail required. The improved "Reports" product provides the ability for customers to view all of their existing returns management reports online as soon as they are available rather than having to wait for copies by mail. The revised version also offers improved navigation for users with multiple access levels, such as retailers with many divisions.

"My Reports" provides standardized, predefined reporting with flexibility for entering filter data. This includes providing retailer invoices to vendors in a secure environment, eliminating the need for paper copies. "My Analysis" features a dynamic query function that provides users the ability to select specified data elements for analysis of trends and history.

"This is the next logical step in continuing the innovations to our material handling and data management service," said Denis Reilly, executive vice president at USF Logistics. "The USF Net products benefit our customers by eliminating paper reports, making historical records available online and providing a dynamic analytical tool to help control returns and better manage the process."
