Women in Supply Chain: Inmar Intelligence's Beverly Steele Talks About the Taboo of Being a Working Mom

Beverly Steele, director of business development for Inmar Intelligence, was named one of Food Logistics' and Supply & Demand Chain Executive's 2024 Women in Supply Chain award winners in the Workforce Innovator category. 

To Steele, being a "workforce innovator" is increasing support and success for work-from-home teams, advocating for improved work-life balances and overcoming the bias and discrimination that comes with being a working mom in supply chain.

What's more, Steele details what it takes to make a mid-career change, and advice for other mid-career professionals considering making a change. From sales to reverse logistics technology, she walks through the benefits of pivoting.
