Optilogic launched Pulsar, a new demand engine powering Optilogic's demand modeling solution, which analyzes demand patterns, forecasts potential shifts, and powers what-if analyses to reveal the customer behaviors driving revenue growth.

"The supply chain is always in motion, but so is the future. Historically, supply chains have taken the approach that demand is simply something to forecast and deliver on. That unsophisticated approach leads to static, thoughtless decisions. Instead, supply chain leaders must understand how future demand is changing and why those changes are occurring," says Don Hicks, CEO of Optilogic.

Key takeaways:

·        Pulsar's hierarchical intelligence finds that real signal across product and location hierarchies down to the individual SKU and location. Instead of a number that implies certainty the market can't deliver, executives get a probabilistic range of outcomes, ready to plug directly into the inventory, production, and network decisions that depend on it.

·        The Optilogic platform does both from a single foundation, combining Pulsar-powered demand modeling with network design, manufacturing, sourcing and procurement, and distribution and logistics, with simulation available across every one of them. Customers get one place to continuously optimize, test what-if scenarios, and redesign their supply chain end to end, starting from a demand signal they can trust.

·        Pulsar works with an existing forecast as additional input, enriches it, and cleanses data automatically, so planners spend their time on decisions, not on rebuilding models every time the data changes.

·        Pulsar is ideal for automotive, consumer packaged goods, craft beverages, and specialty manufacturing.
