Uniscape selects former Novell exec Steve Adams

SUNNYVALE, CA  January 16, 2001  Uniscape, a global infrastructure provider for e-business, announced the appointment of Steve Adams to the position of president and CEO. Adams comes to Uniscape from Novell, where he was senior vice president of worldwide marketing. At Uniscape, he will be responsible for directing the company's global expansion initiatives.

At Novell, Adams architeched Novell's One Net Vision, established Net Services Software as a unique market position for the company, and launched Novell's Directory Enabled Net Infrastructure Model (DENIM), a technology and architecture roadmap. Managing more than 400 marketing professionals, his responsibilities included global marketing, corporate communications, channel and partner marketing, and field marketing organizations worldwide.

Adams earned a BA degree from Middleton City State University, and a Master of Arts degree and a Ph.D. in English from Florida State University.
