Norfolk Southern Names Michael Barr Vice President Investor Relations and Treasurer            

Norfolk Southern Corporation names Michael Barr as vice president Investor Relations and Treasurer. Barr brings over two decades of experience in finance and investment management, including leadership roles at Neuberger Berman, Shockoe Capital and Prudential Equity Group.

Reporting directly to executive VP and chief financial officer Jason Zampi, Barr will lead efforts to strengthen investor relations and optimize the company’s financial performance. Additionally, he will oversee the organization’s integrated resource planning process, a key component of Norfolk Southern’s innovative and balanced strategy. 

MISNA Announces Leadership Transition

The Maritime Information Services of North America (MISNA) announces the appointment of Stephen Lyman, executive director of the maritime association of the Port of NY & NJ, as its new president. Lyman will succeed Captain Steve White, executive director of the marine Exchange of Alaska, whose impactful tenure as president concludes at the end of the year.

Captain Steve White has served as a transformative leader during his presidency, advancing MISNA’s mission of fostering a safer, more secure maritime domain. Under White’s stewardship, MISNA expanded its global partnerships, strengthened its data-sharing platforms, and heightened its role as a critical resource for maritime stakeholders that represent 13 different North American ports.
