Applied Manufacturing Technologies (AMT) announces the joint appointment of Anna Jacobs and Mike Ingles to engineering services business development manager.
The Engineering Services team has wide-ranging skillsets and expertise in the areas of industrial controls, automation consulting, robotic cell design and programming and field support, as well as in electrical design with EPLAN and AutoCAD. In addition, the team is widely trained in Ignition by Inductive Automation and the programming, deployment, and maintenance of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs).
Jean DellAmore Joins ARI-HETRA as Vice President
ARI-HETRA announces the appointment of Jean DellAmore as vice president. DellAmore, formerly with Stertil-Koni, brings over 20 years of industry experience and a proven track record of driving growth and innovation.
During his tenure at Stertil-Koni, DellAmore served as the company’s first president since its U.S. launch in 1997. He was instrumental in establishing Stertil-Koni as a leader in the heavy-duty vehicle lift sector. In his new role at ARI-HETRA, DellAmore will oversee strategic initiatives and spearhead the development of innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of the industry. His appointment underscores ARI-HETRA's commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
Port of Oakland names Craig Simon as its Director of Aviation
The Port of Oakland names Craig Simon as the Port’s new director of aviation, leading San Francisco Bay Oakland International Airport (OAK). Mr. Simon takes the helm at a critical time when the airport will be making many improvements to OAK’s business and facilities.
Simon joined San Francisco Bay Oakland International Airport in December 2012 as an airside operations superintendent. In 2020, he was appointed as an assistant director of aviation, responsible for overseeing all airport operations and compliance functions. He was appointed Interim director of aviation in July of 2023.
Ericsson appoints Patrick Johansson Head of Market Area Middle East & Africa
Ericsson announces the appointment of Patrick Johansson as its new head of market area, Middle East & Africa (MMEA), and senior vice president. Johansson who is currently head of business control & operations at Ericsson’s Business Area Cloud Software & Services, will replace Fadi Pharaon whose decision to leave Ericsson was announced in May 2024. Johansson will take up his new position on August 1, 2024, and be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Patrick Johansson’s background spans across multiple Business Areas and Market Areas having lived in Sweden, Korea, India, Austria, China and Vietnam since joining Ericsson in 1997. His previous work experience includes roles as global head of sales & commercial management for Business Area Networks, head of customer unit Korea as well as several executive Finance and Business roles.
Troy Hayes Joins NSI Industries as Chief Human Resources Officer
NSI Industries announces the hiring of Troy Hayes as CHRO, effective July 8. As a member of NSI’s executive leadership team, Hayes will report to NSI CEO G.R. Schrotenboer and will lead the company’s HR function, with responsibilities that include providing end-to-end HR strategy, execution and delivery of processes and operations to drive business objectives.
Hayes was most recently vice president of Talent Development and Corporate HR at AutoNation. Prior to AutoNation, Hayes was a principal consultant at Summit Leadership Partners. Previously, Hayes spent 17 years at Ingersoll Rand in various leadership positions, including vice president of Talent and Organizational Capabilities and vice president of HR in the Compression Technology and Services global business.
Merchants Fleet Hires Brian Sari as Regional Sales Manager
