PSDI is changing its corporate name to MRO Software, Inc. In a move to align the company's corporate identity with its focus on maintenance and repair, the change will take effect immediately. "Our new corporate name reflects the company's demand and supply side brands," said Chip Drapeau, president and CEO, PSDI.
The name is subject to approval at the annual stockholders meeting in February, 2001. PSDI has reserved MROI as its new Nasdaq symbol, and plans to change to this symbol shortly after the Company's annual meeting.
"Today's name change announcement signals a natural next-step in the evolution of PSDI's core business," commented Clare Gillan, group vice president, IDC. "MAXIMO Extended Enterprise is designed specifically for maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) management. The flagship product, MAXIMO, helps companies streamline MRO requirements gathered from the machines, facilities, and fleet vehicles that drive spending and communicate those requirements across the supply chain to e-marketplaces.
