ProSavvy, Project Arena announce alliance

Oakland, CA  May 21, 2001  Project Arena, a leading Web-based Professional Services Automation (PSA) solution, has announced a strategic alliance with ProSavvy, an Internet-based solution for procuring and managing consulting and professional services.


Under the terms of the agreement, ProSavvy will selectively license the Project Arena application to its 17,000 affiliate consultants, enabling them to better manage and streamline their project management processes.


Our partnership with Project Arena gives ProSavvy affiliates access to sophisticated project and cost management tools. In ROI [return on investment] studies, Project Arena users have reported returns in excess of 50 percent compared to their existing management practices. Participating firms using Project Arena can streamline their business processes and pass such savings on to their clients. This is an extremely powerful differentiator for someone in the consulting and professional services industry, said Thom Howard, ProSavvy's chief information officer.


ProSavvy brings clients and professional service providers together through Web-based applications and comprehensive business services. The ProSavvy Marketplace connects 180,000 business users with 17,000 consultant affiliates and 200,000 other professional service providers, reducing the time, cost and risk associated with procuring consulting services.


Rick Tovell, corporate operating officer for Canadian eBusiness consulting and services firm Impact Blue, is a ProSavvy affiliate with customers throughout North America. Impact Blue recently became a Project Arena customer. ProSavvy involvement was important, but the key factor in our selection of Project Arena was its ease-of-use.
