St. Paul, MN June 18, 2001 e-Business is reaching the local garage, and gaskets, bearings and manifolds are now being sourced as slickly as computer chips. The Springfield, Mo.-based auto parts company licensed lawson.insight Financials engines and Open Component Extensions for Lotus Domino.

O'Reilly, ranked as the eighth-largest auto parts chain in the United States by Automotive Marketing magazine, will use its lawson.insight solutions to replace an aging legacy accounting system. O'Reilly will leverage the workflow capabilities and scalability of lawson.insight to automate and manage financial operations at its corporate headquarters and 716 stores. Company officials cited Lawson's full compatibility with the AS/400 platform, feature-rich financials modules and Lotus Domino customization tools as key factors in their decision to select Lawson.

Jim Batten, chief financial officer at O'Reilly, commented, "Lawson's ability to integrate with our AS/400 platform and existing applications helped drive the return on investment of this project. We're anticipating many benefits upon implementation."
