British post office, airport authority pick e-catalog solution from Requisite

Westminister, CO  June 27, 2001  Requisite Technology this week announced a gaggle of new customers for its e-catalog content tools, including clients in Merry Olde England.

Consignia, the new name of the British government's post office group, and the British Airport Authority have signed up to use the tools to create online, multi-supplier catalogs. Requisite also announced Union Bank of California as a customer for its buy-side software.

Meanwhile, over on the sell side, Software Spectrum Inc., marketplace Gatetrade.net and business service provider MarketMile have selected Requisite applications to create and manage e-catalogs.

Louis Faust III, CEO of Requisite, said the new customers from across the Pond would increase his company's presence abroad, and he tied these customer wins to the expansion of e-business around the world "As e-commerce and e-procurement continue to expand globally, the need for standards and interoperability becomes vital," he says.
