CommerceFlow offers test drive program for sell-side e-commerce app

San Francisco August 21, 2001 Thinking of selling through an online marketplace but just not sure that e-commerce channels are right for you? How about a test drive along the Information Superhighway?

B2B solution provider CommerceFlow is offering an Enterprise Test Drive program to let companies test sell through online auction channels before purchasing or installing the solution provider's e-commerce application.

Through the program, companies interested in testing the efficacy of CommerceFlow's Enterprise application provide the solution provider with listings of products they wish to sell. CommerceFlow merchandises and sells products on behalf of the program participants using Enterprise, and after 90 days participants can choose whether or not they wish to purchase the application for themselves.

"With more than $20 million in sales per day, the leading auction marketplaces are tremendous channels for driving incremental sales and liquidating excess inventory," said Aaron Emigh, CEO of CommerceFlow. "Our Test Drive Program offers companies a very tangible demonstration of this fact."

Enterprise integrates catalog and inventory management systems with multiple e-business sales channels and manages workflows for catalog, auction and request-for-quote (RFQ) sales.

CommerceFlow says that Enterprise allows selling organizations to connect to their e-business-enabled customers; manage catalog, auction and RFQ sales across multiple marketplaces; and integrate new e-business channel sales with existing systems and processes.
