Optika joins Oracle's partner program

Colorado Springs, CO  November 28, 2001  Optika, a provider of imaging, workflow and collaboration software, and Oracle have announced a partnership that will leverage integrations between enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications and Optika's Acorde product family for the companies' joint customers.


Joint Optika and Oracle customers include Airborne Express and BMC West Corp. "We are thrilled with the positive impact that the Oracle/Optika integration will have on our business," said Steve Kissinger, Oracle implementations manager at Airborne Express. "As a current customer of both Optika and Oracle, we are certain that a tighter integration of our business systems will enable Airborne to be more efficient and productive, and reduce operating costs associated with our payables process."


According to a statement released by the companies, by content- and process-enabling ERP and other business systems, Optika's Acorde product family enables companies to improve user productivity, reduce processing costs, and offer better supplier and customer service.


Pam Miller, accounts payable manager at BMC West Corp. can also see the benefits for her company. "The seamless integration of Optika's Acorde with Oracle will allow BMC West to build upon current functionality while enabling us to quickly move forward with extending the solution to additional departments throughout BMC West."
