Atlanta August 8, 2002 Ross Systems, a provider of enterprise management software and e-business solutions for process manufacturers, is partnering with Selligent, a supplier of customer relationship management (CRM) solutions, in a bid to expand its CRM offering for process industries.
Under the agreement, Ross Systems will integrate the Selligent sales, marketing and customer care applications into its iRenaissance suite as iRenaissance CRM.
"As we expand the breadth of our integrated offerings, we maintain our commitment to providing the world's best business solutions for the food and beverage, life sciences, chemicals, metals and natural products industries," said J. Patrick Tinley, chairman and CEO of Ross Systems.
Tinley said Ross had evaluated numerous CRM systems and found the Selligent applications to be the best functional fit for Ross' markets. "In addition to typical sales force automation requirements, our customers often face the challenges of multi-tier distribution and revenue channels and the need to enhance the value of existing customer relationships," Tinley explained. "The Selligent CRM applications are uniquely qualified to address these issues."
Ross Systems will market the CRM applications worldwide and also has exclusive rights to market them to process manufacturing companies in North America. The CRM applications will be integrated with Ross' iRenaissance suite and be available to the market beginning this month.
