Dallas, TX Ñ February 26, 2003 Ñ AquiTec International, a provider of supply chain execution (SCE) software, and enterprise performance management (EPM) software provider Silvon Software have formed a global alliance to bring performance analysis and supply chain event management to retailers, wholesalers and other users of AquiTecÕs SCM/400 and SCM/e applications.
Under the alliance, AquiTecÕs clients will use SilvonÕs enterprise performance management analytic and event management applications, measuring performance in the areas of retail orders, procurement, warehousing and labor.
In addition to analytics and reports, the joint solution will provide supply chain event management to enable companies to respond to unplanned events, such as depleted inventories or delayed shipments.
Guided analysis for identifying root causes of problems that may occur across the supply chain and closed-loop processing for driving analysis scenarios back into a customerÕs operations system also will be included in the solution.
Terms of the alliance include the sharing of resources for product development, sales channel collaboration, marketing support and customer service between both companiesÕ offices in Chicago and the United Kingdom.
