Philadelphia, PA Ñ February 28, 2003 Ñ Stonepath Group this week announced it has initiated the roll-out of its new operating system, Tech-Logis (Technology in Logistics), an offering that the provider said would unite StonepathÕs current logistics operations with selections from global logistics and transportation software providers.
After searching the market, Stonepath selected supply chain software providers G-Log and Yantra to complement its current technology with transportation, warehouse management and order fulfillment capabilities. The new system, according to Stonepath, will enhance operational capabilities and give customers access to their entire supply chains through a single user interface, which is from BEA Systems.

StonepathÕs new fulfillment and order management capabilities, powered by YantraÕs Distributed Order Management and Yantra Warehouse Management, will provide accurate supply chain information, according to the company. It also has plans to use Yantra software solutions to improve its order fulfillment and warehouse management capabilities. Through G-Log, Stonepath will provide a global enterprise logistics solution that includes optimization, transportation execution and an alert tracking function on a Web-native architecture.
