Palo Alto, CA — April 24, 2003 — e-Sourcing solution provider Perfect Commerce this week reported that it had successfully transitioned all former customers of erstwhile rival PurchasePro to its own solutions.
PurchasePro filed for bankruptcy last September and agreed to sell its assets to Perfect, which completed the acquisition in January.
Now Perfect is reporting that all of PurchasePro's clients — including Accor North America, Arch Coal, Fleetguard, Honeywell, Owens Corning and Unisys — have elected to become Perfect customers.
"These customers have chosen to renew based on the company's record of successfully acquiring and integrating organizations, vision for future product offerings, and it's commitment to support them on a long-term basis," Perfect said in a statement.
"We are extremely happy with the commitment Perfect Commerce has made to its new customers," said Kris Richardson, vice president of procurement at Accor. "After the transition from PurchasePro to Perfect, we continue to see savings using our private marketplace and are pleased with the results."
James McCormick, president and CEO at Perfect, said the provider was committed to providing PurchasePro's former customers with the products, services and support they need to continue generating efficiencies across their organization.
Perfect offers a solution that includes an integrated suite of modules such as Event Manager, Scorecard Manager, Category Manager, Contract Manager, Process Manager, Insight Manager and eProcurement Manager.
