
Rockwell Automation Names Jane Barr President for Americas Region
Rockwell Automation announces Jane Barr has been named president, Americas, effective immediately. As president, Barr will continue to report to Scott Genereux, SVP and Chief Revenue Officer, and she succeeds Gina Claxton, who leaves Rockwell to pursue other opportunities.
In this role, Barr will lead our largest region executing on our industry-focused sales strategy, to accelerate customer value and deliver on growth targets. The Americas organization consists of Canada, US, and Latin America. Barr’s previous role, also reporting to Genereux, was regional president, Global Industries, in which she led Rockwell’s global industry practice including relationships with our top 100 global key accounts. She is a senior member of the Global Sales & Marketing leadership team with 28 years at Rockwell.
Big Lift Adds CMO and VP of Sales to its Management Team
Big Lift, LLC announces the appointment of Martin Boyd as chief marketing officer and Jason Dunigan as vice president of Sales for its Big Joe and EP North America brands. Dunigan started in his role this week and Boyd will begin in January of 2025. These executive positions will support the company in its many objectives including a strong focus to expand its leadership in lift truck electrification.
RK Logistics Group Adds Experienced Finance, Business Development Executives to Management Team
RK Logistics Group announces the addition of two experienced business executives to its management team, taking key leadership roles for the company’s finance and business development operations.
Named as RK’s new CFO is David Blandford, who brings over a decade of experience directing accounting, treasury and financial management operations with growth companies in multiple industries. In his new role, he oversees all RK’s back-office functions, including Accounting, Financial Planning and Audit, Human Resources and Information Technology. He also provides strategic direction and counsel for personnel structures, compensation and benefits programs, merger and acquisition integration, and treasury management.
Peter O’Donnell has joined RK as vice president of Business Development, bringing over 25 years of experience in logistics and supply chain sales and solution development to the RK team. In his new role, he is responsible for design and execution of business plans, go to market strategies, profitable revenue growth, sales team staffing and overall leadership of RK’s business development and account management teams.
Joe Boyle Appointed to ATRI Board of Directors
The American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI) announces the appointment of Joe Boyle, UPS Corporate Transportation president, to its Board of Directors. Mr. Boyle was appointed by ATRI chairman of the Board Derek Leathers, Werner Enterprises Chairman and CEO.
As president of UPS Corporate Transportation, Joe leads the company’s transportation operations for the U.S. with a special focus on continuing to build efficiencies, leveraging technology and streamlining the UPS network. Joe began his career in 1989 as a sorter in the Philadelphia Air Hub and was promoted to full-time supervisor in 1994. After experience in hub and preload operations in Metro Philadelphia, Joe was promoted in 1999 to air ramp load planning manager in the Philadelphia Air Hub.
Joe served as air hub sort manager and package business manager in Philadelphia before being promoted to hub division manager in Lawnside, New Jersey, in 2004. In 2005 Joe served as the package division manager in Metro Philadelphia until 2007 when he accepted an assignment in the South California District responsible for hub operations. The following year Joe became the district transportation operations manager and was later named Central Plains district transportation operations manager in 2010 and Worldport district manager in 2015. In 2019 Joe was named the district manager for Ohio Valley district and then named district manager in transportation for air operations in 2020. In 2021, Joe was named district manager of the Central Zone.
