Anvyl, a D2C startup, has raised $9.3 million in Series A funding. The round was led by Redpoint Ventures, with participation from existing investors First Round capital and Company Investors. In addition, angel investors Kevin Ryan (MongoDB and DoubleClick), Ben Kaufman (Quirky and Camp) and Dan Rose (Facebook) also participated in the round.

The company looks at every step in the logistics process and visualizes the migration in an easy-to-under UI, effectively separating itself from its competitors. Anvyl reportedly goes to the factories - the very start of supply chains - and sets up cameras and sensors to allow brands see their products being built. In addition, it lets brands manage suppliers, find new suppliers and submit RFQs to see cost breakdowns and accept quotes.

The funding round brings Anvyl's total to $11.8 million. The company plans to use the money to hire engineers and marketing professionals and grow its consumer goods customer base.
