EXTOL Promotes Michael DeCosta to Vice President of Sales

Company veteran to guide sales expansion for B2B integration software provider

Pottsville, PA—Feb. 14, 2012—EXTOL International, a provider of business integration software and services, promoted Michael DeCosta to Vice President of Sales.

“As the integration software market continues to evolve both in demands and complexity, it is critical for EXTOL to have a leader with both technical knowledge and customer experience driving our sales strategy,” said Tony Baran, Chief Executive Officer, EXTOL International. “Fortunately, we found that leader from within.”

With nearly two decades of leadership experience, DeCosta will maintain and expand EXTOL's current base of more than 800 mid-sized enterprises. Upon joining EXTOL in 1996, DeCosta helped establish the company's telemarketing department and has since led several successful campaigns to accelerate lead generation and market awareness. DeCosta has served in a variety of management positions at EXTOL, most recently as national sales director and manager of customer sales.

“Michael has displayed outstanding technological expertise and a keen acumen for developing solid relationships with our customers, prospects and sales team and we are confident that his guidance will positively shape EXTOL's future,” Baran added.

Prior to EXTOL, DeCosta supervised the telemarketing staff at Publishers Circulation Fulfillment. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications in Online Work and Communities from Walden University.

“I've been fortunate to learn from some great technical and sales minds at EXTOL as well as the customers we serve,” said DeCosta. “I'm excited to turn that knowledge into results for enterprises seeking more efficient integration processes.”
