Renaissant, Inc. and Titletown Tech launched Voice-Enabled AI at the Gate, what is said to be the industry’s first and only voice-enabled AI technology.

“Shippers and logistics companies today are often in the dark on who is arriving at their warehouses to transport their products.  It’s hard for their teams to sort all this out, creating efficiency, security and safety problems. All of this translates into long wait times,” says Tom Dean, president and CEO of Renaissant. “Each minute a driver sits and waits, both the warehouse and driver are losing dollars as their shipments sit idly waiting on people to figure out how to handle the driver. As an industry, we owe it to them to build tools that give detailed data on every aspect at the gate, and that’s what we’ve built with our new AI-enabled solution.”

Key takeaways:

·        The new solution, developed at Microsoft’s AI Co-Innovation Lab at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, allows drivers to talk to an Agentic AI-powered clerk to check-in, verify shipment information and get next steps, all from the comfort of their cab.

·        The breakthrough technology is designed to simplify a complex need in the shipping industry and provide manufacturers with detailed insights into who is hauling their product and where it is.
