ShipStation announced that less-than-truckload (LTL) freight shipping is now available directly inside the ShipStation platform, so customers can access real-time LTL rate quotes, book shipments, and track freight in the same workflow where they already manage their logistics operations, including parcel shipping.

“ShipStation built its reputation on parcel shipping technology, tailor made for small and mid-sized shippers,” says Tom Madine, CEO of ShipStation Global. “Today, it includes so much more, from inventory management to returns and analytics, all powered by ShipStation Intelligence™. Allowing our customers to manage their end-to-end logistics, including freight, in one place feels like a natural extension and, crucially, a pivotal step toward multi-modal intelligence.”

Key takeaways:

·        The launch is the first major product integration since Auctane and WWEX Group completed their merger in June to form ShipStation Global.

·        ShipStation customers can access real-time LTL rates through ShipStation Global's carrier network, create and manage LTL orders alongside parcel, track shipments, and manage invoicing across both modes.

·        New ShipStation customers can set up a freight account and access competitive rates within minutes, with no prior carrier relationship required.

·        Customers can also bring their already-negotiated Worldwide Express or Unishippers LTL rates.
