Armada Sunset Holdings announced it will formally integrate Armada Supply Chain Solutions, Sunset Transportation and ATEC Logistics under the Armada brand in 2026 with Chris O’Brien, the current president of Armada Sunset Holdings, assuming the role of CEO of Armada, effective Jan. 1, 2026.
The integration reflects close collaboration with the leadership of Sunset and ATEC, whose teams will play a central role in shaping the integration strategy.
Key takeaways:
· The consolidation is a strategic move to clarify market presence, streamline operations and carry forward the company’s evolution as a unified supply chain and logistics leader.
· This next chapter builds on one of Armada’s core values – Better Together – which has long defined the company’s collaborative culture. The integration marks a change in name and a deepening of the partnerships, capabilities and teamwork that have powered Armada’s success to date.
· Joe Dominijanni, the current CEO of Armada Supply Chain Solutions, will become vice chair of the Board of Directors, while John Burke will continue serving as chair of the Board.
“Sunset and ATEC each bring something powerful to the table, and we’re committed to honoring that,” says Burke. “This is about building something better together: one Armada, with a shared purpose and a clearer path forward.”
“Chris brings the right mix of commercial expertise, operational discipline and strategic vision,” Dominijanni says. “He’s earned the trust of our people and positioned the business for what’s next. I am confident he is the right person to lead Armada forward.”
“I’m proud to lead the best team in the industry. We have a competitive advantage with service offerings across warehousing, inventory optimization, supply chain engineering, advanced supply chain visibility technology, international, and freight management. Bringing those services closer together will deliver even more value for our current and future customers and employees,” O’Brien adds.
