Cadec Global Executives on the Move

Angela Shue joins fleet management solutions provider as VP of Sales; Owen Smith appointed SVP of Product Strategy

Manchester, N.H.Oct. 15, 2012—Enterprise-class fleet management solutions provider Cadec Global appointed Angela Shue as Vice President of Sales; and promoted Owen Smith into the new role of Senior Vice President, Product Strategy.

Shue is responsible for all aspects of sales for Cadec’s enterprise-class PowerVue family of products; and for expanding the company’s presence in North America.

“I’ve been in this industry a long time and over the past year or so I have seen a real transformation at Cadec,” said Shue. “I’m very impressed with the Cadec team and technology and the company’s tight focus on providing the best fleet management solutions to the trucking industry. I have had a lot of success selling best-of-breed solutions like PowerVue into enterprise accounts, so this is a great fit for me. I’m really excited to dig in and get started.”

Shue has over 25 years of enterprise sales experience in the transportation industry, with formerly held executive roles at XATA Corp., TripMaster and Transportation Management Systems.

As Senior Vice President of Product Strategy, Smith— formerly Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Cadec—will drive the strategic vision of Cadec’s enterprise-class solutions, including product management, marketing and partner development.

“This new role is a great opportunity for me to focus on market needs and how Cadec can meet those needs through technology innovation and new partnerships,” said Smith. “With Angela running sales, we can work closely together to make sure Cadec’s solutions align with what our customers need in order to run their fleets as efficiently as possible.”

Owen leverages over 25 years of enterprise software and mobility experience along with his deep understanding of the extended supply chain.

“Cadec’s customers will directly benefit from our senior management team’s decades of experience in the transportation industry,” said Pete Allen, Chief Executive Officer of Cadec. “Angela’s sales record in the trucking market is unparalleled and Owen brings in-depth product knowledge of fleet management solutions to the newly created position. With these additions, Cadec is well positioned for future growth and can ensure we are bringing the best fleet management solutions to the market that will make an impact on our customers’ goals of operational efficiency, safety and improved service.”
