Customers gain assurance of speedy integration for MCA Solutions' parts optimization solution with SAP apps

Philadelphia — January 27, 2006 — Service parts planning specialist MCA Solutions has received "Powered by SAP NetWeaver" certification for its Service Planning and Optimization (SPO) software suite, giving SAP customers across multiple industries confidence that they can speed integration of the suite with their SAP solutions.

This certification extends the SAP integration certification that MCA received last year for SPO version 4. It enables MCA customers to further leverage their implementation of the SAP NetWeaver platform to run SPO version 5.1 on the SAP NetWeaver Application Server Release 6.40 and to access views on any platform via SAP NetWeaver Portal 6.0 and MCA's Service Planning and Optimization Business Package 60.1, according to MCA.

"More companies are realizing the need for responsive planning for parts and service to increase service profitability at lower costs," said Bob Salvucci, president and CEO of MCA Solutions. "This certification allows customers to further leverage their investments in SAP solutions through rapid integration of MCA's best-of-breed solution with the Enterprise Services Architecture from SAP."

MCA Solutions' customer base comprises service organizations in the aerospace, defense and high-tech industries, including Boeing, Cisco and KLA-Tencor. MCA said that its software helps its customers reduce inventory, increase fill rates and improve customer satisfaction.
