2006 Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100

Nominations now being accepted for latest listing of top supply chain solution and service providers

Chicago — June 1, 2006 — Nominations are now closed for the 2006 Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100, the magazine's annual listing of top supply chain solution and service providers.

The mission of Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine is to provide original intelligence and decision-making information for corporate executives and other supply and demand chain management professionals as they enable their supply and demand chains for competitive advantage.

As part of this mission, each year the magazine uses its Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100 feature to make its readers aware of those enablers that are leading the way in providing cutting-edge solutions and helping enterprises address pain points in their supply chains through the application of new technologies and new processes.

This year the magazine is focusing the criteria for its "100" feature on innovation. "Our readers turn to Supply & Demand Chain Executive to learn about new solutions and best practices for enabling the supply chain, to understand trends in supply chain technology, and to benchmark their own companies' enablement initiatives with those of other enterprises across industry verticals," explained Andrew K. Reese, editor of Supply & Demand Chain Executive. "The corporate executives and line-of-business leaders who rely on the magazine want to know not only what the state of the art is today, but what will be the cutting edge of supply chain transformation and enablement tomorrow."

With its latest listing, Supply & Demand Chain Executive is looking to identify the leading providers of supply chain services and technologies who are at the forefront of innovation. Based on submissions to the "100" from end users and solution providers, the judging committee for the "100," including the editorial staff of the magazine, in conjunction with the editorial advisory board, will present a list of the top supply and demand chain innovators.

"Our goal with this year's '100' is to highlight a broad range of innovations taking place in the theory and practice of supply chain transformation," added Reese. "Therefore, our judging committee looked for solutions across a variety of industries, addressing the needs of companies of varying sizes, and assisting in the transformation of a diverse mix of the functions that make up the supply chain."

The list of the "100" will appear in the June/July 2005 issue of Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine and online at www.SDCExec.com beginning July 18.
